Friends of Football are to host a special screening of the long-awaited Maradona, a British documentary film about the celebrated Argentine many believe was the greatest footballer of his generation.

The film, which has been won acclaim at the Cannes Film Festival and at this year’s Locarno Film Festival awards, contains previously unseen footage and provides a unique insight into the life of Diego Maradona.

Admission to the screening (at the Vic cinema, Devonport, in Auckland) is free to financial members Friends of Football.
