Golden chance to see all top six women’s teams in a single day

posted in: News

If you want the chance to see how good our top women’s football is, you’ll struggle to find a better opportunity than this Sunday (May 9).

The six teams in the Women’s Lotto NRFL Premier Division are all playing in Auckland and at staggered kick-off times, enabling spectators to go to all three fixtures.

Women’s fixtures

10am – Northern Rovers (2nd) v Eastern Suburbs (3rd) at McFetridge Park, Glenfield

Leave this game at the final whistle and it’ll take an estimate 28 minutes (according to Google Maps) to drive to Game 2.

1pm – Auckland United (5th) v Western Springs (1st) at Keith Hay Park, Mt Roskill

OK, you’re going to either have to leave before the final whistle – or miss a bit of Game 3 – but it’s only a 22-minute trip to get to your third and final game of an action-packed day.

3pm – Ellerslie (6th) v Hamilton Wanderers (4th) at Michael’s Ave, Ellerslie
