Phoenix to play FFA Cup semi-final in Geelong after fixture reshuffle

posted in: News

Wellington Phoenix will play Melbourne Victory in the semi-final of the FFA Cup on Saturday January 29 after a reshuffle of A-League fixtures.

The clubs were meant to meet that day in the men’s A-League; instead that game joins the list of disrupted fixtures to be rescheduled after a flurry of postponements.

The FFA semi-final will be played at GMHBA Stadium, Geelong.

The winner of that game will meet Central Coast.

The Wellington Phoenix face a packed fixture schedule after their A-League games against Central Coast and Brisbane Roar were postponed due to cases of COVID-19.
