We aim to keep you in touch with our national teams, the Wellington Phoenix (men’s and women’s A-League), clubs in the northern and Waikato region (where most of our members are based) — and stories that remind you why we call it The Beautiful Game.

Mobiles
Save our Friends of Football icon on your mobile home screen so you can access our stories at a single touch — just like an app.
Here’s how to make that happen:
Android phones
Launch the Chrome browser; go to our website at www.friendsoffootballnz.com or find the page at our site you want to check most (such as ‘news’).
Tap the menu icon (the three dots in the upper right corner) and tap ‘Add to home screen.
Enter the name you want for the shortcut (such as FoF) and Chrome will add us to your home screen.
iPhones
Launch the Safari browser; go to our website at www.friendsofffootballnz.com or find the page at our site you want to check most (such as ‘news’).
Look to the bottom of your screen and tap the ‘share’ icon (that’s the square with an arrow pointing out of it).
Scroll down the list of options and tap ‘Add to home screen’.
Type a name for your site link (such as FoF). This will become the title that appears beneath the icon on your home screen.
Tap ‘Add’ in the top-right corner of the screen.
To move it like you would any other app, tap and hold its icon, then tap ‘Edit Home Screen’, and you’ll be able to drag it to your desired location. When you’ve placed it where you want it, tap ‘Done’.
Desktop or laptop computers
Go to your Bookmarks menu and add our site to your favourites.
