Familiar face returns to WaiBOP Football in new role

posted in: Club noticeboard

Graeme Blake has rejoined the WaiBOP Football team, taking up the role of Futsal and Junior Competitions Co-ordinator.

Blake is fondly remembered by many in the game as WaiBOP’s popular Game Development Manager, a role he held for many years before leaving to pursue other interests in mid-2021.

“I’m so pleased to be back in football and back with WaiBOP,” Blake said as he settled in for his first day back at the federation office in Te Rapa, Hamilton.

“I have many friends across the region’s football community and I’m looking forward to working with everyone again.”

One of Blake’s first tasks will be to prepare the term 1 futsal draws then it’ll be straight into preparations for the 2023 football season.
