New Zealand futsal player Tyler Ericksen has landed his first professional contract, signing with Portugese Liga Placard III Divisão club Reguilas de Tires.
Ericksen (22) has played the indoor format for Capital Futsal, the Waikato Rapids and Bay of Plenty Surge, and he represented New Zealand at the FISU World University Championship in Shanghai in June 2024.
He’s played club football for Waikato clubs Melville United, Hamilton Wanderers and Claudelands Rovers.
Reguilas de Tires, based outside Lisbon, play in the third division of the national futsal competition.
