Papatoetoe and South Auckland Rangers have closed the gap on NRFL Men’s League One leaders Central United with midweek wins.
Papatoetoe beat Central United 1-0 at the Croatian Cultural Club, while Rangers beat Mangere United 7-1 in a one-sided game at Mangere Centre Park.
In Canterbury’s Reta Fitzpatrick Cup, Cashmere Technical won a place in this year’s final after beating Coastal Spirit 3-2 at English Park.
They will play Halswell United, who beat Selwyn United 1-0 in the other semi-final, played on August 7.
