Former Football Ferns and representatives of new A-League club Auckland FC will be among the guest speakers at the NRF Wāhine in Football event in late August.
Northern Region Football will host the celebration of the women’s game at Go Media Stadium, Mt Smart, on Friday August 30, 2024.
The entire football community is invited to attend but individuals must register to confirm attendance which will be on a first come, first served basis, until the venue capacity is reached.
“It’s a special evening of networking and korero for women in football and allies of the women’s game — everyone is invited,” NRF says.
“It’s a chance to celebrate the amazing and inspiring football women who went before and hear NRF’s plans to drive equity and inclusiveness in our game.”
