Announcing the change, North Wellington said: “Ryan Faithfull informed us earlier in the year that he would leave North Wellington as the director of football.

“Under him, the club has grown both on and off the field and under his leadership, the men’s first team secured their safety in the men’s Central League, ensuring our place in this league for 2025.

“We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Ryan for his hard work, passion, and commitment to our football community.

“Please join us in thanking Ryan for his contributions and wishing him all the best in his future endeavours as he and his family relocate to the Pacific Northwest.

“The search for a director of football and men’s first team coach is already underway, and we are confident that the foundation Ryan has built will support our continued success.”

An OFC/NZF B Licence qualified coach, Faithfull has been coaching since 2014 when he was an assistant coach with Auckland City.

In 2021, he became head coach for the Western Springs women’s first team who were runners-up in the 2022 Women’s National League.

After resigning from Springs, he joined Hibiscus Coast for the latter stages of the 2023 Lotto NRFL Men’s Championship competition.
