Two of the Northern Region’s top women’s goalscorers have signed for Women’s National League clubs ahead of the season starting this weekend.
Britney Cunningham-Lee (23) will play for Eastern Suburbs after running away with the Lotto NRFL Women’s Championship Golden Boot, scoring 28 goals for Franklin United.
She previously played for Ellerslie, who took part in last year’s National League.
Danica Urlich-Beech (20) is in the Southern United squad set to face Eastern Suburbs in the season opener.
She led the scoring for Hibiscus Coast in the Lotto NRFL Women’s Premiership last season, finishing equal second in the competition’s Golden Boot with 14 goals.
