Carters Henderson, led by Auckland City FC’s Darren White, have won the Bill MacGowan Memorial Trophy at Friends of Football’s fifth annual golf day.
They and other foursomes enjoyed a full day of golf – and catching up with football friends – at the Waitemata Golf Club’s course where Bill MacGowan played his golf.
Teams enjoyed competition for the stylish trophy, including a team led by Bill’s widow Trish MacGowan.
