Mumbai City also named their new strength and conditioning coach as Danny Deigan, former head of sports science/strength and conditioning for New Zealand football (2019-2021).

Deigan had a similar role with the Indian national side between 2015 and 2019.

Meanwhile, Miyazawa’s departure from Auckland United means the club is recruiting a new head coach and academy director.
