Wellington United fans plan to cheer on their women’s team in the Kate Sheppard Cup final from the comfort of Kelburn event venue The Hunter Lounge.
The club have booked the venue so they can screen the live broadcast of the Diamonds’ game against Hamilton Wanderers on Sunday March 27 (kick off 2.30pm).
The NZ Football Foundation-sponsored game will be played at Auckland’s North Harbour Stadium where spectators will be admitted free of charge. Attendance has been made possible since this week’s easing of restrictions on outdoor gatherings.
Doors open at 2pm and entry to the function is $5 per person.
The Hunter Lounge, at 1 Kelburn Parade, is a venue for live shows and events such as wedding receptions.
