Relaxation of restrictions opens gates for Kate Sheppard Cup final

Supporters will be able to attend the Kate Sheppard Cup final after all — and entry will be free!

The announcement by the Government (March 23) to relax restrictions for outside gatherings means the NZ Football Foundation-sponsored game no longer needs to be held behind closed doors.

Gates at Auckland’s North Harbour Stadium will open at 2pm with the match between Hamilton Wanderers and Wellington United kicking off at 2.30pm on Sunday March 27.

A statement from NZ Football said to gain entry, spectators would need to display their MVP (My Vaccine Pass) upon entry as the event required vaccine passes.
