Franklin United will roll out the red carpet for Claudelands Rovers on Saturday April 30, hosting the match at the 12,000-seat Navigation Homes Stadium in Pukekohe.

Well-known to sports fans as the home ground of the Counties Manukau Steelers rugby team, the stadium promises an exciting atmosphere for the Hamilton visitors and for Counties-region football fans.

Franklin United is offering free admission to encourage strong support at the stadium.

The two sides played only once during the COVID-shortened 2021 Lotto NRFL second division season, the game ending in a 0-0 draw.

After opening their 2022 season with two close losses, Franklin United need a win against the unbeaten Claudelands Rovers.

The Franklin-Claudelands round three match kicks off at 1.30 pm. For those arriving earlier, the two clubs’ under 23 teams play from 11.30am.

Can Franklin United win on Saturday for their fans in the stadium grandstand or will the Hamilton visitors continue their winning streak?
