All Whites midfielder Sarpreet Singh is in a race to get fit for New Zealand’s crucial World Cup play-off against Costa Rica next month.
The 23-year-old has been sidelined since April with a groin injury but he’s returned to Auckland to get help from Sunz Singh, the strength and conditioning coach who helped New Zealand MMA star Israel Adesanya.
Chris Chang’s story on television’s 1news quoted Singh as saying:
“I’m improving. It’s a very niggly injury, you don’t know exactly how it’s going to get better or how long it’s going to take to get better.”
