Sunday league side Internationale FC have won the annual play-off for Auckland’s Charity Shield, beating rivals Independiente FC by 6-3.
The two sides met last Sunday (June 19) in the Auckland Sunday Football Association’s Premier Cup but the match doubled as the Charity Shield.
The shield is contested between the 2021 Premiership winners (Independiente FC) and the holders of the 2021 Premier Cup (Internationale FC).
