posted in: News

Two goals in the opening six minutes got NRF Championship leaders Papatoetoe off to a match-winning start when they beat bottom-placed Lynn-Avon United at Matariki weekend.

However, Papatoetoe allowed United back into the game and they drew level through two goals from Hugh Sorby.

In the end, Papatoetoe got home 3-2 thanks to a winning goal from Sandip Singh.

Nearest rivals Central United and South Auckland Rangers both have a game in hand on Papatoetoe.
