Hibiscus Coast’s winning run goes on the line in NRF Women’s Championship

Hibiscus Coast’s winning streak is at stake on Sunday when they meet NRF Women’s Championship rivals Onehunga Sports.

With 8 of 8 games won and 37 goals, Hibiscus Coast have no difficulty finding the back of the net. They have three of the competition’s top five goalscorers in Danica Urlich-Beech (10), Peta Van Hattum (9) and Stacey Martin (7).

A further win this weekend would cement Hibiscus Coast’s top-of-the-table position in the round-robin stage of the NRF Women’s Championship.

Onehunga Sports have won all but one of their games, beaten only by Franklin United in a 2-4 loss.

Regardless of this weekend’s result, Hibiscus Coast with 24 points can expect to qualify for the next stage of the competition.

On the other hand, Onehunga Sports with 18 points need more points from their last three games to be assured a spot.
