Navy Blues coach Riera: ‘Rewa will be strong opponents’ in OFC Champions League

posted in: News

Auckland City coach Albert Riera won’t underestimate Fijian club Rewa, his side’s next opponents at the OFC Champions League tournament.

He watched them win their opening game on Friday against Nikao Sokattak and says he thinks they are fast, mobile and strong.

He told Auckland City FC’s website:

“There are some good teams in this tournament, a few I believe are very strong, and we saw that when we had a chance to see Rewa on Friday.

“We thought Rewa were very, very mobile, very strong, very fast and I think tomorrow is going to be a very complicated game.”
