Central United must win their midweek match against South Auckland Rangers to stay in control of their challenge for the NRF Men’s Championship title.
A win in Wednesday night’s floodlit game at the Croatian Cultural Club in Te Atatu South will give Central an edge over title rivals Papatoetoe when both sides play their final fixtures on Saturday.
A loss would mean Papatoetoe could probably take the title with a draw in their final game against Papakura City, providing Central didn’t beat Ranui Swanson by a huge margin.
Whatever the possibilities, they’ll become clear by 9.40pm on Wednesday night when Central have played their rescheduled fixture against South Auckland Rangers, which is their game in hand over Papatoetoe.
