A hat-trick from Trudy Sandie led Madhatters Stonehaven to a 5-0 win in the final of the 2022 Northland Women’s Cup.
Played at Trigg Arena, Whangarei, Stonehaven led 1-0 at half-time through Sandle’s 34th-minute goal.
In the second half, the cup winners poured on the pressure and comfortably won.
To get to the final, Stonehaven beat Onerahi 4-1 in the semi-final, while Kerikeri needed extra time to beat Tiki Kamo 6-5 in their semi-final.
