Metro FC seek candidates for head coach role for next season

Metro are seeking candidates for the role of head coach for their men’s first team for next season.

The team will play in what’s expected to be called the Lotto NRFL Premiership, which replaces the first division after an end-of-season restructure.

The club says:

“We are looking for a motivated coach who shares the same vision and values for the side as the club.

“The successful candidate must hold a minimum of the NZF/OFC C Licence or higher to meet the requirements of the competition.

“The club has entered into an MoU with New Zealand’s most successful club, Auckland City FC, and this relationship provides an exciting opportunity to have support from the country’s best whilst working to develop a successful team to challenge for promotion in the 2023 season.”

The club also seeks applicants for NRFL Premiership team assistant coach(s) and a goalkeeper coach.

Expressions of interest and CVs, and any questions, should be directed by email to Metro chair Ants Owens at metrofcinfo@gmail.com.
