Te Atatu looking for men’s first team coach in push for promotion

Te Atatu FC are seeking applications for the role of men’s first team coach for the 2023 NRF Men’s Championship season.

The club says the coach will be responsible for coaching and managing a successful team with the short-term goal of earning promotion to the Lotto NRFL Northern Conference.

In its description of the role, which reports to the club committee through its chair, the club says:

“The club is seeking a highly-motivated individual who has the ability to work well both autonomously and as part of a team whilst representing Te Atatu’s culture on and off the field.”

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating a positive team environment.
  • Driving high standards for players and support staff of the first team.
  • Extensive player management including commitment of existing players nad recruitment of new players.
  • Working closely with the reserves coach and director of football, with the goal of continuing to develop our pathway from youth through to first-team football.

Applicants need to have, or are working towards, a minimum accreditation of an OFC/NZF C Licence, or the international equivalent, and have the right to work in New Zealand.

The role is part-time with remuneration to be discussed with the successful applicant.
