Bay Olympic have re-appointed Mike Hunter as their women’s first-team coach for next season.
Olympic will play in the NRF Conference and plan to recruit new players as the club looks to further develop its programme for girls and youth players.
Hunter said: “It’s an exciting time for women’s football in New Zealand and hopefully it will encourage more younger girls to pick up the sport.
“We are already planning for next season as we compete in Conference and actively seeking new players.”
In addition to his first team role, Hunter will actively work within Bay Olympic’s girls/youth programme and the club is seeking coaches for its Youth Talent Development pathway and Girls Junior/Youth programme.
In its advertisement for coaches, the club says:
“Bay Olympic is seeking coaches for both our Youth Talent Development Pathway and Girls Junior/Youth programme delivering the Bay Olympic playing model and philosophy.
