Wellington Phoenix midfielder Josh Laws says the team has got behind new signing Yan Sasse who was sent off in last weekend’s debut against Adelaide United.
Laws says there was nothing malicious about the tackle that led to the straight red card, and a three-game suspension the club is now appealling.

In a media conference, Laws said Sasse slipped and he’s “gutted” about the outcome.
