It was a weekend of late goals deciding critical results with three Men’s National League games and the Wellington Phoenix match all being decided in the dying moments.

Young footballers had plenty of chance to shine. The U-17s lost at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup but the U-17 boys held their inaugural National Youth League finals tournament, won by Auckland United.
