Winger Robertson ready for Phoenix debut after post-concussion clearance

posted in: News

Michaela Robertson is in line to make her Wellington Phoenix debut at Sky Stadium this weekend.

The popular Wellington winger has been included in the extended Phoenix squad for Saturday afternoon’s second-round Liberty A-League match against Western United.

Robertson (26) missed last week’s memorable season opener against Melbourne City due to concussion, but is now symptom-free and cleared to play her first competitive match for the Nix.

She joined the Phoenix women from the club’s academy after scoring more than 100 goals in 103 games for Wellington United.
