Two club administrators have been recognised for their services to football at Harbour Sport’s annual Sport Excellence Awards.
Albany United board member Vaughan Wright and former East Coast Bays president Russell Fisher were honoured in the Sporting Acknowledgement section of the awards, held at the Event Finda Stadium.
Wright joined United’s executive board in 2019 after previously playing and coaching at the club.
Fisher, well-known to social media followers of East Coast Bays matches as a sideline broadcaster, stood down as president in July, to return to his native England.

The winner of the Supreme Award at the Harbour Sport awards was Olympic kayaker Dame Lisa Carrington.
