Two days of competition have helped sort out the leading contenders in the men’s and women’s sections of the National U-17 Championships at Western Springs’ Seddon Fields.
In the men’s draw, Auckland United and East Coast Bays are the only teams left with four wins from as many games and they lead their pools.
There’s still plenty to play for, especially in Pool C where four teams are vying for the two qualifying spots for the quarter-finals to be held later on Saturday.
In the women’s competition, Northern Rovers and Auckland United head their groups having maintained 100% winning records over the first two days.
Western Springs are hosting the annual event for the fourth time.
