Sunday’s Grand Final in the Women’s National League decides which club will earn the right to call themselves ‘national champion’ for the next 12 months, as Eastern Suburbs and Western Springs go head-to-head at Mt Smart Stadium.
In Wellington, the ASB Sports Centre hosts the four-day Youth Futsal Championships, bringing together the best male and female youth teams.
The Wellington Phoenix stage a men’s and women’s double header on Saturday.
And, of course, the FIFA World Cup reaches its climax in the early hours of Monday when Argentina and France play the final game at the tournament in Qatar.
