Northern Rovers sign Argentine winger/striker for Lotto NRFL campaign

Northern Rovers have signed forward Gonzalo Freddi for next season’s Lotto NRFL campaign.

Freddi (29) is from Argentina where he has been playing since returning there in 2018, after three seasons in Australia.

He played for Dandenong and Murray United in the Victorian National Premier League Division 2, and was Dandenong’s leading scorer in 2016.

Rovers say Freddi will also coach in the club’s Talent Development Programme and academy, and will lead the club’s First Kicks programme.
