Bay Olympic appoint Deven Jackson in youth coaching role for next season

Northern League club Bay Olympic have named Deven Jackson as their youth strength and conditioning coach for 2023.

Jackson (24) is a sports science specialist with a degree in sport and recreation, majoring in sport and exercise science.

“Deven will be an asset to our players and their game performance and welfare,” Olympic said when announcing her appointment.

Jackson plays for national women’s champions Eastern Suburbs, having scored twice in their 4-0 Grand Final win against Western Springs on December 18.

A West Auckland local, Jackson played for the Bay as a junior.

She has studied in the United States, working with U-17 and U-20 players and successfully achieving New Zealand qualifications. Jackson completed US College internships in Division 1 sports.
