Promoted Coast confirm coaching staff for next season’s Women’s Premier League

Hibiscus Coast have named their coaching staff for next season’s campaign in the Lotto NRFL Women’s Premier League.

The Coast side won promotion to the WPL after winning the NRF Women’s Championship and Carol Waller Cup in 2022.

Tyler Agiovlassitis (main photo) is the latest appointment to the coaching group as its women’s premier development coach.

He joins Asher Trotter (head coach), Mitch Joynt (conditioning coach), and Adam Frisby (goalkeeper coach), supported by the club’s new Director of Football, Nathan Cranney.

Announcing Agiolassitis’ appointment, the club said: “A highly-visible club favourite, Tyler has a wealth of experience with seniors, youth, and juniors across both male and female spaces, working closely with almost all of the club’s core programmes.

“Tyler has worked closely with head coach and head of women’s football, Asher Trotter, for the past two years already both as an assistant coach, video analyst, and has also joined Asher as part of his coaching staff in the Maori Football Aotearoa senior women’s environment (Nga Wahine Whanapoikiri).

“Originally from the USA, Tyler also has experience supporting players with Striv3 to achieve US College Scholarships and placements overseas, as well as supporting their individual development goals.”

Asher said: “We are incredibly excited to make this official. I’ve worked closely with Tyler behind the scenes for the last few years now across multiple projects, including our women’s space, and I can’t think of anyone better to take the top tier of our female programme to the next level.”

Next season’s plans

The Women’s premier first and development teams’ open pre-season starts on February 2 at North Harbour Stadium and they train on the North Shore all year-round.
