Western Springs seek coaches for junior and youth programmes

Auckland club Western Springs are seeking coaches for their Skill Centre and Talent Development Programmes.

The club says its NZ Football-accredited skill centre (for junior players U-9 to U-12) and its TDP (U-13 to U-17 youth) provide a pathway for players to progress from juniors to youth and into men’s and women’s senior football in regional and national leagues.

“Our leading youth teams play in the NRFL youth leagues with opportunities to play in New Zealand Football’s national youth leagues,” the club says.

The club seeks coaches who are reliable and well-organised and can work with other like-minded coaches with a passion for football.

They will lead by example and will communicate effectively, building positive relationships and support players working towards their personal goals.

Requirements for the roles are that junior coaches will already have or be working towards the attainment of a NZF Junior Level 3 coaching qualification.

Youth coaches will have or be working towards the OFC/NZF C Licence or equivalent, as a minimum qualification.
