Coach Lawrence to take winning squad to Queensland for A-League match against Roar

Wellington Phoenix women’s coach Natalie Lawrence goes into this weekend’s women’s A-League match with the same players available that broke through for their resounding 5-0 win against Canberra United.

Nineteen players are again vying for 16 places in the matchday squad for Saturday’s 12th round Liberty A-League match against the Brisbane Roar in Brisbane.

Club captain Lily Alfeld (injury), playmaker Alyssa Whinham (personal reasons) and Football Ferns forward Emma Rolston (suspended) remain unavailable for selection.
