Time to kick back and recall a remarkable game that took place five years ago this weekend.
It was the Stirling Sports Premiership match between Hamilton Wanderers and Hawkes Bay United, at FMG Stadium Waikato.
The game was not short on incidents — 10 goals and a swag of near-misses as the sides went full tilt for 90 minutes and stoppage time.
Mark Cossey’s Wanderers had six goals from six different scorers.
Brett Angell’s United side finished the game with nine men.
It was, as the Sky commentator said, “a remarkable game”.
