Eastern Suburbs have confirmed their coaching staff for the 2023 season, including the appointment of Kane Wintersgill as their Men’s Premier Head Coach.
Football Fern Tayla O’Brien, who won the Women’s National League’s Golden Boot in 2022, is also listed among the coaching staff.
The Suburbs men’s first team plays in the Northern League. Their women’s first team competes in the Lotto NRFL Women’s Premier League, and won the Women’s National League title last season.
Wintersgill told Suburbs’ website:
“The club is very close to my heart, having played a key role in my development as a coach, as well as being the place where some of my most enjoyable moments in football have occurred.
“I can’t wait to get started, and I am looking forward to supporting the players as we try to create more memorable moments for our club members and the wider community.”

Director of Youth Football: Hoani Edwards.
Director of Women’s Football: Stephen Hoyle.
Strength and Conditioning Coach: Sunz Singh.
Men’s Premier Head Coach: Kane Wintersgill.
Director of Junior Football: Michael Built.
Coach: Jaiden van der Heijden.
Coach: Zach Haydon.
Coach: Adam Thurston.
Coach: Taylor O’Brien.
