Phoenix focused on making play-offs as future of head coach remains uncertain

As three players prepare to leave the club, the future of Wellington Phoenix coach Ufuk Talay remains uncertain.

He’s out of contract at the end of the current men’s A-League season after four years in the job.

The club is losing vice-captain Oli Sail to Perth Glory, while All Whites midfielder Clayton Lewis and Steven Ugarkovic say they”ll leave when their contracts expire.

Talay told Newshub:

“At the moment, I’ve had a few discussions with our chairman at this stage.

“I haven’t made any decisions for myself so like I said my focus is finishing the season well.”
