Eastern Suburbs go top of Northern League with win against Western Springs

posted in: News, Northern League

Eastern Suburbs are top of the Northern League — for a night, at least — after beating Western Springs 1-0 under the Friday night lights at Seddon Fields.

Martin Bueno scored the winner from a corner early in the second half, and that turned out to be enough for Suburbs who have now played two games for a couple of 1-0 wins.

Springs, meanwhile, go to the bottom of the table with a negative goal difference of five goals.
