Technical’s Garbhan Coughlan into double figures already as goals flow

Cashmere Technical’s Garbhan Coughlan is setting a hot pace as the leading goalscorer in the country’s three regional leagues.

Coughlan (30) has scored 10 goals in three rounds of play to lead the race for the Southern League’s Golden Boot.

Former All White Monty Patterson has five Northern League goals for Manurewa, despite having to withdraw from Easter Monday’s match after tweaking a hamstring in the warm-up.

Technical’s Coughlan opened his account with four goals in the season opener against FC Twenty 11. He then scored a double at Nelson Suburbs before nothing another four-goal bag against Nomads United on Good Friday.
