One of three Manurewa players sent off in their 3-3 draw against Hamilton Wanderers has had his three-match ban lifted following a review by Northern Region Football’s disciplinary committee.

James Hoyt had been sent off for violent conduct but the disciplinary committee found no evidence to support the sanction of violent conduct.

The disciplinary committee considered information provided by the referee, assistant referee, assessor reports and video evidence.

Hoyt (32) was one of three players sent off in the 88th minute of the match at Hamilton’s Porritt Stadium.

Nico Bobadilla (24), who had scored all three Manurewa goals, and team captain Agustin Contratti (30) have been stood down for 10 games each, after copping straight reds for protesting referee Andy Holdsworth’s decision to send off Hoyt.
