All Whites winger Marco Rojas will be available for Chile champions Colo Colo for their Copa Libertadores game next week against Boca Juniors — and then he’ll leave the club.
Rojas (31) has asked to be released from his club contract early, citing personal reasons and in the knowledge he has slipped down the pecking order in team selections.
Encancha reports the club has agreed the game on Wednesday June 7 (NZT) will be the last for which Rojas will be available, should coach Gustavo Quinteros want to include him in the squad to face Argentina’s Boca Juniors.
Since moving to Chile last year, Rojas has scored one goal and provided five assists.
This year, he has played 167 minutes spread over three games in the national championship and made one appearance in the Copa Chile.
