Win against PNG can secure quarter-final for New Zealand at OFC tournament

posted in: News

New Zealand can clinch a quarter-final spot at the OFC U-19 Women’s Championship with a win or draw today against Papua New Guinea.

Having already beaten Fiji in their tournament opener, New Zealand are in a strong position ahead of Sunday’s Group B fixture against PNG in Suva (4pm NZT).

Victory to New Zealand would see them certain of topping their group and earning a quarter-final against the runners-up in Group C.

The match will be live-streamed by OFC Media.
