Wellington Phoenix midfielder Grace Wisnewski will join the Football Ferns squad as a training player to help the side prepare for the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
She replaces defender Meikayla Moore who has withdrawn as a training player for personal reasons.
In addition to the 23-player squad named by head coach Jitka Klimková for the World Cup tournament, the team has three training players who are back-ups in the event of injuries.
Wisnewski joins Ava Collins and Phoenix teammate Kate Taylor as training players.
