Organisers of the FIFA Women’s World Cup are urging fans to have a go at creating the Unity Beat — the tournament’s crowd chant — and to share their efforts on social media.
FIFA say: “The Unity Beat doesn’t belong to any one team or fan but inspires us to all reach ‘Beyond Greatness’. A powerful physical chant that proves greatness feeds greatness, becoming a shared cultural experience.
“Get your club together and replicate the Unity Beat, upload your video to your social channels and tag it #FIFAWWC #BeyondGreatness #UnityBeat.”
