Former Football Fern Rosie White says New Zealand’s win against Norway was “the best performance I’ve ever seen from a Ferns team, so awesome they just rose to the occasion.”
Playing at Auckland’s Eden Park, before an all-time record crowd for a New Zealand football match, the Ferns beat the higher-fancied Norway 1-0 in the opening game of the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
White was a guest on TV1’s breakfast show.
