Onehunga Mangere United will host a junior girls tournament on Sunday August 27, 2023, and invites entries from clubs that want to participate.
The event, for 9th and 10th grade girls, will be named the Suzanne Stephens Tournament to recognise the efforts of a Life Member who “has been a tireless worker to make sure the club has been able to continue running smoothly.”
United say it has seen a significant growth in the number of junior girls’ teams at the club and want to provide the opportunity for junior teams from all clubs to share in a fun tournament day, building on the success of its annual Digger Douglas tournaments.
The club says the day will be well organised, with full facilities on site including canteen and BBQ food.
