Cashmere Technical have landed a league-cup double, adding Canterbury’s women’s knockout trophy to their South Island League title.
Technical beat FC Nomads 4-0 on Sunday to take out the Reta Fitzpatrick Cup at Christchurch’s English Park.
At the presentation, the team were also crowned champions of the Women’s South Island League, in which they had finished eight points clear of nearest rivals Dunedin City Royals.
They had finished their South Island League programme a week earlier but took the opportunity to combine their celebrations at English Park.
