Schools embrace football programme to learn from FIFA Women’s World Cup

More than 35,000 school students will use football to learn about New Zealand’s bicultural and multicultural society as part of New Zealand Football’s programme Kōtuitui.

The programme was launched before the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup with the expectation that about 14,000 students would benefit from the programme.

However, demand has more than doubled the expected number of schools to register to participate.
